Customers can pre-order their favourite dish via
the program “Book The Cook” where a selection of local and international
delicacies can be ordered 24 hours before flight departure time when
travelling from select destinations. And in the ultra premium Raffles
Class, the
experience is beyond compare.
With the bubbly Dom Perignon, Piper
Heidsieck Special Rare Cuvee and Krug Grande Cuvee, choicest of wines
from France, Italy, Germany, Australia, New Zealand and the United
States, and port wines from Portugal on offer. There is typically also a
dessert wine available. And Yummy! is a facility offered to the young
travellers in the First Class wherein they can pre-order from a
tantalising array of healthy dishes before flight departure.
”This is an unexpressed need that’s been capitalised on rather sensibly,”
says corporate traveller Jatin Bhimani. “When I am flying first class, I
must have a variety of frugal meals to sumptuous spreads on offer. What I
feel like eating is entirely my prerogative.” Agreed. So if you want to
get treated like royalty, fly Emirates. The FirstClass suites offer
elaborate seven-course meals accompanied by the choicest of beverages,
served in the comfort of the suite.
Dine on demand, room service style.
Tuck in delectable fruit tarts, crème brûlée and chocolate mousse triple
symphony along with speciality teas and cafetière coffee, anchovy bell
peppers and fresh Parmesan; cream of carrot and coriander soup; lobster
and arugula salad on noodles with Thai chilli; scallop ragout and tomato
salsa, and oven-roasted la
mb with thyme. And that’s not all. To help you
adjust your body clock and bust jet lag, a stellar image of the night sky
replete with twinkling constellations, is displayed on the ceiling panels
(of the Emirates A340-500).
Shining bright is the visage of airlines, what with e-ticketing, spacious
tech powered airport lounges and fare wars. Take your pick of the taste of
paradise. Cheers!
